Welcome to the ILR School’s brand guide! It’s essentially a toolbox to help us tell ILR’s story to the larger world, and to ourselves. Each of these verbal and visual tools will help us talk about our research, teaching, outreach, and all the ways we’re driving impact in a bold and consistent way.

Taken as a system, this brand expression is a way for the entire ILR community—everyone on our campuses, in the institutes, and out in the world—to come together and find common ground. It’s also a way to reinforce who we are to our stellar students, legendary faculty, incomparable staff, the extraordinary alumni network, as well as new audiences we hope to reach.
Ultimately, ILR’s brand comes from ILRies: We make the brand every day by living our lives and by doing our work. It’s in the stories we tell, and how we tell them. But common ground needs tending. It’s up to all of us to extend the ILR brand, as well as its expression and guidelines. Let’s think of this guide as a framework that can flex as our audiences and needs evolve.
